Awaken Education provides a nurturing alternative provision based at East Butterwick Village Hall, North Lincolnshire a serene countryside setting chosen to help young people reset and re-engage with learning in a calm, supportive space.
Our unique framework, The Awaken Way™, supports students through creativity, emotional development, and real-world skills. With small group sizes (max 6–8), part-time placements (4 hours/day, 4 days/week), and a holistic curriculum, we re-ignite learners’ confidence, curiosity, and capacity to thrive, especially those at risk of exclusion or struggling in mainstream settings.

Referral Process
- Initial Enquiry – We explore fit, availability, and packages
- Referral Form – Background info, needs, and proposed start date
- Suitability Review – Internal assessment + pre-admission visit if appropriate
- Admission Meeting – With family, school/LA and Awaken staff
- Induction – Key worker assigned, praise system explained
- Progress Reviews – 4-week check-in, then termly reports shared
Placement Packages & Investment
At Awaken Education, we understand that every learner’s journey is unique ,which is why we offer a flexible range of packages to suit different needs, from trial placements to high-support therapeutic provision.
Our part-time placements run 4 hours per day, Monday–Thursday, with AM or PM sessions available. All packages include access to our nurturing environment, holistic curriculum, and coaching-style support.
Our provision is based at East Butterwick Village Hall, a peaceful, countryside venue in North Lincolnshire. Surrounded by open fields and fresh air, it’s an international-feeling retreat designed to help young people reground, reset, and regather their feelings.
Packages start from £120/day, with tiered options such as:
