Awaken Education provides a nurturing alternative provision based in a setting chosen to help young people reset and re-engage with learning in a calm, supportive space.

Our unique framework, The Awaken Way™, supports students through creativity, emotional development, and real-world skills. With small group sizes , part-time placements and a holistic curriculum, we re-ignite learners’ confidence, curiosity, and capacity to thrive, especially those at risk of exclusion or struggling in mainstream settings.

Referral Process

  1. Initial Enquiry – We explore fit, availability, and packages
  2. Referral Form – Background info, needs, and proposed start date
  3. Suitability Review – Internal assessment + pre-admission visit if appropriate
  4. Admission Meeting – With family, school/LA and Awaken staff
  5. Induction – Key worker assigned, praise system explained
  6. Progress Reviews – 4-week check-in, then termly reports shared
